*UPDATE* Apparently this works for bluetooth also.

This requires:
-the i465 from Boost Mobile (or Nextel)
-A usb data cable (you can find them cheap on eBay, for like 99 cents), or Bluetooth
-A computer
-An internet connection (preferably a broadband connection)
- MyJAL MediaPal- http://www.cnet.com/ (search for MyJAL MediaPal on there)
-dBpoweramp Music Converter- www.cnet.com/ (search for dBpoweramp Music Converter on there)
1. Creating the ringtone:
1. Create a free account at http://www.ventones.com/.
2. Now on www.ventones.com/, click on the right side tab that says "Create Free Ringtones"
3. Towards the bottom, click "Log In"
4. Browse your computer for an MP3 file... (if you have file in itunes, just copy the song you want as a ringtone, from your library, and paste it to your desktop)
5. Upload the ringtone. Choose the 30 seconds you want with the slider, then click "Create Tone".
6. Then Click "Save Free Ringtone". Save it, to your desktop.
2. Converting the ringtone you just made:
1. You should have dBpoweramp Music Converter downloaded. You need to convert the file that you just got from ventones, so that its compatible with your phone.
2. Now that the file is on your desktop, Right click the ringtone you created on ventones, and click "Convert to". It should open up "dBpoweramp Music Converter"
3. This is very important. Make sure you have these settings set like this.
Converting to- "Wave"
Uncompressed- "8 bit, 8KHz, Mono". Then Click "Convert"
4. The MP3 file will now be converted and saved as a WAV file. (the file type that is needed to work on the i465)
3. Transferring the file from your computer to your phone:
1. Now open up MyJAL MediaPal that youve downloaded from cnet.
2. Connect your phone to your computer via usb cable.
3. Then click "Connect" in the top right corner of MyJAl MediaPal. You should hear the sound of your phone disconnect, the reconnect. Give it some time.
4. Your phone is connected. You should see all of your Applications on the application tab. Now click the "Ring tones" tab.
5. Click "Add". Make sure the "Files of type:" is set to "All Audio Formats". Select the WAV. file from your desktop that you created from ventones, and click "Open".
6. Click "Upload to Mobile Device", let it transfer, and there you go. Free ringtones from your comptuer to your phone.
I know this sounds like a lot to do, but its the only way I found how to do it, since Boost Mobile, and Nextel wont let you download them, or get them through MMS Messages. It sounds long, but once you have the programs, and understand how to do it, youll be fast.
